We provide children the opportunity to build healthy relationships with adults in their community who care for them in a safe, nurturing environment.
Foster Parents’ Night Out provides foster parents and church volunteers the ability to forge relationships, creating a sense of community that extends beyond the time spent at FPNO. Furthermore, church volunteers are bonding with each other over shared experiences with the children at FPNO, strengthening the faith communities in which we serve.
We ask that all of our volunteers make a one year commitment to FPNO as many of our children do not have consistency in their lives. Once the child builds a relationship and connects with a volunteer, they look forward to seeing that volunteer every month. Consistency communicates so much to children; we want them to know we value spending time with them and wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to see them.
